A faith-driven movement rebuilding the way families live, grow, and care for one another — from the soil up, across generations, and around the world.
"What the modern world dismantled, faithful hands can restore — one family, one field, one barn at a time."
For most of human history, families lived close — not just under one roof, but as communities. Grandparents, parents, and children woke to the same sunrise, worked the same land, shared the same table. Knowledge passed from elder to child through doing, not sitting. Resources were shared, not duplicated. Life was hard, but it was whole.
In His Service Missions exists to restore that wholeness. Not as a retreat into the past, but as a path forward — grounded in faith, rooted in land, and built around the irreplaceable bonds of family and community.
We are a 508(c)(1)(a) faith-based nonprofit, chartered in Wyoming in 2014. Every investment we make is in people, land, and the kind of life that actually sustains a soul.
Everything we do flows from a simple conviction: when families are rooted, communities thrive.
One community. One tractor. One set of tools. Shared equipment means every family keeps its resources for what matters most. Organic. Whole. Grown by the hands that eat it. When you don't need to own everything, you can afford to live everything.
Grandparents, parents, children — living near one another, not apart. Elders share their irreplaceable stories and wisdom. Children are raised by a village. Parents find relief in a community that takes turns, shares burdens, and celebrates together.
Work is the classroom. The land is the textbook. Elders are the teachers. Children learn by doing — planting, building, cooking, caring — gaining skills and values that no standardized test could ever measure.
Think of the old Southern tradition of three generations under one roof — then expand it into a neighborhood. Close enough to help. Independent enough to breathe. Connected enough to never face anything alone.
When our investments come through, we'll hit the road — searching for dilapidated barns whose owners are willing to let us restore them. Not for profit. Not for recognition. But because a restored barn says something to every person who drives past it:
"This place matters. This heritage matters. These hands still care."
One barn at a time. From the Atlantic to the Pacific. A quiet, powerful testimony that restoration is always possible.
We live in one of the most remarkable valleys in the world — Vilcabamba, Ecuador, known for its longevity, its climate, and its deep connection to the land.
Here too, families need restoration. Self-sufficiency. Health. Community. The same values we're building in North America translate beautifully to the people and land of Southern Ecuador.
Our vision is global — not as a corporate expansion, but because every family, everywhere, deserves to be whole. Vilcabamba is where we are. It is where we start.
